Overcoming challenges in English

In English this term we started a challenge project. There were 4 options from us to choose from. Option 1: Community Sports Project Research, plan and present a proposal for a sports project here at school. Possibly using the school pool site. Option 2: Interview an Athlete: Research, contact and interview an athlete who has overcome a challenge in their life or sport. Option 3: Set Yourself a Challenge: Research and plan a sports goal for yourself. Read about overcoming challenges and write about how you have succeeded in it. Option 4: Create a Challenge: Plan a sport activity for the class that will help them overcome the challenge of “supporting each other.” I chose option 3 which is set yourself a challenge. AS91263 Questionnaire Design Purpose

The principal of my school has asked me to design a questionnaire to find out if the school's website is easy to use. He wants to know if the people looking for information are able to find it and if its the information they are looking for. this survey is meant for people who use this site such as, parents/caregivers of students, students, possible students, and their family, BOT, and other people who are related to the school.

Using chopsticks and drinking tea

In mandarin this week we are looking at the eating side of the Chinese culture. On Monday we used chopsticks, we learnt how to use them, some people were able to use them better than others. On Tuesday we learnt about tea and we got to try some. We tried jasmine tea in Chinese tea cup which had a certain way to hold them so when you are drinking hot tea it won't hurt your fingers.
