It was a boring 1:24am stroll. The odor of car exhaust fills the air as the occasional car goes past.
It’s peaceful out here, just me and my thoughts. I can taste the fresh air, it was nice out here, until I catch something out of the corner of my view.
I quicken my pace, I want to get home. I went for a walk to clear my head but now it’s exploding with potential possibilities from what I just saw.
Ahead I see a forest. It’s called the forest of the dead because of how silent it was and because the tree’s had no leafs making them like a skeleton without flesh.
I turn my head again and I was certain that there was something behind me. I turn my head again and see a group of people. They were in clothes as dark as the midnight sky with eyes as white as new pieces of paper that gleamed like the stars. Their faces had blank expressions as they were no souls in their bodies, but yet they followed me.
As they came closer, I see the forest of the dead and decide to lose them in it. They quicken their pace until we are all running.
The forest was dead silent. Now it is filled with twigs snapping underneath our feet and my panting as I try to lose them.
Snap, snap, snap.

I am being chased through a misty forest where only the skeletons of trees were left.
The sky was as grey as the mist making it hard to tell when it ended and the sky began
After a while of running I stop because I thought I had lost them. I lean up against a tree to catch my breath. I feel the bark through the back of my shirt, it’s cold and a little bumpy
Behind me I hear twigs snapping as they draw closer, not knowing where to go I pause to figure out my next moves. Out of nowhere a knife glides through the air and skims my arm and plunges into the tree in front of me. I feel the pain throughout my whole arm, I could see the scarlet liquid leave my body as it drops onto the cold damp ground. I grab on to my arm in an attempt to try to stop the bleeding and start to run again but more knifes come and I hear them shouting at each other than it all goes silent. They were gone. Disappeared into thin air. I stop running and turn around to see if they are near. I don’t see them. I turn around to try to find my way home but when I do there is someone right in front of me. A smile, not a nice one creeps on to their face.
“Found you,"
Two words that could be used in innocent game of hide ‘n’ seek or in a horror movie just before a death of a character.
This felt like the latter
They can’t help but laugh.
“CUT!”
“Let’s take it from when the first knife comes and keep in role this time”
This movie better get good ratings I think to myself.
